It’s week 9 in the garden and we’re seeing lots of changes. The lupins are still going, just, but the wild rocket has had its day. It’s being replaced by amazing blue and white delphiniums and the calendula are about to boom. We’ve added some hanging baskets to the fence as we still haven’t had a chance to build the planter at the bottom of it and get the clematis in there. The rose at the window is fabulous with lots of blooms just poking up high enough to see from the living room as well, need to get that attached to the wall!
Our sweet peas are flowering well and providing lots of blooms for little vases all round the house and the sugar snap peas in the raised bed are going great guns providing plenty of peas for dinner. Looks like our courgettes are going to fruit soon too and the carrots and onions are going strong. The dwarf beans……well…..they’re a bit stunted to say the least!
